Cooper Tommy Tunes Award Recognition

Students Nominated for Excellent Performance
The John Cooper School is proud to announce that its recent Upper School musical production has received multiple preliminary nominations from the Tommy Tune Awards, recognizing excellence in student performance, creative leadership, and overall production.

The Tommy Tune Awards celebrate outstanding achievement in high school musical theater across the Greater Houston area. Each participating production is evaluated by three professional adjudicators who score performances and production elements across a range of categories.

Preliminary nominations are awarded when at least two of the three adjudicators meet a specific scoring threshold in a given category. In March, scores from all participating schools will be compared, and the highest-scoring individuals and productions will be named Finalists.
