Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 of more than 1.5 million juniors nationwide who entered the 2026 competition by taking the 2024 PSAT/NMSQT®. While they will not continue in the 2026 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, they represent a group of students whose academic promise and achievements set them apart on a national level.
