Cooper Celebrates Strong 2026 Niche Rankings

The John Cooper School Ranked #1 in The Woodlands
The 2026 Niche rankings have been released, and The John Cooper School has achieved its highest standing to date. Cooper is now ranked #1 in The Woodlands (Montgomery County), #2 Best Private High School in Texas, and has jumped to #14 Best Private K-12 School in America out of 3,055 schools nationwide.  
The school also holds a spot at #38 Best Private High School in America, and #5 Best High School for STEM in Texas, and #62 Best High School for STEM in America, underscoring its academic excellence. 
In addition to academics, Cooper earned an A+ Overall Grade. The John Cooper School has 1380 students from 45 countries, and that diversity in the student population was recognized with an A+ grade. Athletics remain a core part of the student experience, with 20 varsity sports offered and a ranking of #135 among 1,682 Texas schools for Best High Schools for Athletes.
