Dragons Compete in Annual EfTA Math Bowl Competition

Testing Math Knowledge in Game-Show Style Competition
Congratulations to the 12-member Cooper team that competed in the annual Math Bowl competition  sponsored by Education for Tomorrow Alliance on February 6 for seventh through twelfth grade students in Montgomery County. 

Team members Safee Baig, James Donald, Adam Frison, Ariel Fu, Flora Johnson, Vikram Kansal, Sydney Lipar, Vishal Subramanian, Morgan Tague, Zachary Visser, Peyton Wagner and Zac Winton competed in a game-show style competition on algebra, statistics and other math skills in 30-second intervals. 

Tague and Wagner were on the team that finished in first place, Baig and Donald competed on the second place team and Subramanian competed on the team that finished third. 

Congratulations to the team and their faculty sponsor Aaron Smith. Way to go, Dragons!
