      The John Cooper School has a 2019-20 opening for a full-time Art Teacher specializing in painting. Art Teachers report to the Department Chair and School Heads. They work closely with all school faculty, support staff, and parents. An Art Teacher must be able to communicate well with both children and adults. Professionalism, a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a genuine love for children are essential in this position.     • Theater Arts Teacher
      A full-time faculty position for Upper School Theater Arts is available for the 2019-20 school year. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing the theater program, directing one or two main stage productions and one black box production, and teaching a series of drama classes. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. They will have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in the custodial maintenance job.
