From Coach Brent Landrum: “The boys are still playing well. We went 2-1 this week. We lost to a very good St. Thomas team on Saturday that is currently undefeated. We held our own. A few key mistakes cost us dearly as it always does against great teams. This coming week we have three more games. The Friday night game vs. Kinkaid is our next SPC South Zone game. We are 3-1 in conference play and Kinkaid is 4-0 and they are playing well. We expect it to be a hard-fought game.”

From Coach Scott Holland: “A solid showing for everyone. SPC is a few weeks away and our times are dropping. We also saw great improvement in the field events.
The girls’ and boys’ 4X400 Relay had their best performances of the season tonight. We are looking to get into the fast heat at SPC. Both teams have a good chance to score and possibly earn a medal.
12 PRs on the girls' side and on the boys' side, there were 22 PRs.
We have the Finnegan Meet on Friday and Saturday. There are still some athletes on the verge of earning a trip to SPC by meeting the qualifying standard. Some are literally a less than a second and less than a foot to qualify for SPC.
Big thanks to the coaches, parents and other volunteers that made the Cooper Dragon Invitational a great success."
