Fifth Graders to Perform Fun-Filled Musical, "Swinging High"

Another Cooper tradition – the Fifth Grade Musical – will end this month and begin the next when it is performed on the main stage of the Glenn Performing Arts Center on March 31 at 6:30 p.m. and April 1 at 8:15 a.m. Under the direction of Debra Moses, students will perform “Swinging High.”

Mark your calendars now to attend this musical about the hilarious things that take place at Cooper High, when a new principal imposes “cruel days” on the students and teachers with his program of “all work and no play,” designed to produce scientists. A very funny situation arises when the students decide that romance might just be the solution. Leading roles are being played by Jacob Sutton, Sophie Kantis, James Cooper, Chloe Smith, Luke Turner, Grace Minarovic, Rivers Kolesar, Catie Sellers and Tanure Ewherido.
