Student Artwork Featured at Woodlands Wildflower Festival Set for September 26

Head out to Wildflower Festival to see the work of two Cooper student artists.

Two entries submitted by Cooper student artists to the 2015 Woodlands Wildflower Festival Poster Contest have been awarded. In the 14- to 18-year-old category, Ebwacheekwu Oguchi was awarded second place for his sketch of a dandelion and Madeline Smith took first place and was awarded $100.

Smith's watercolor of Bluebonnet, Black-eyed Susan and Pink Cosmos wildflowers was also selected as the design for this year's festival t-shirts. Stop by Town Green Park in The Woodlands on September 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to pick up some wildflower seeds and see the beautiful work of these two students.
