Cooper holds first annual French Symposium

Successful symposium celebrates winners from Middle School French classes.
Today during the Middle School Morning Break the winners of the first annual Cooper
French Symposium were announced!

"The students were very excited as each winner was announced," says Ms. Karen Watson, Middle School French teacher. "The French 1A and French 1B students worked diligently for six weeks preparing for the contest which was held in the US and judged by US Texas French Symposium participants.  I was very impressed with the work they did in preparation for the contest."

Each student participated in one of five events.  Some students were ambitious and attempted two events!
These events were examples of events in the actual Texas French Symposium, held this year at St. John’s
on March 31st and April 1st.

"Congratulations to all participants, and an extra 'bravo' goes to the winners!" says Ms. Watson.
