Coach Nicole Hedden: We built an 11-run lead in the first inning with a total of 14 hits overall with Grace Minarovic, Madison Rogers, Maggie Flinn, and Sydney Kelly each collecting multiple hits. Minarovic had four hits in four at-bats to lead the charge. She doubled in the first twice, then singled in the third and homered in the fourth. Patterson pitched for the win.
3/23 vs Episcopal High School* • 5-1 L
Coach Nicole Hedden: Grace Minarovic and Maggie Flinn each collected one hit. We couldn’t get our bats going this game; the defense did many great things, but we just fell behind early and couldn’t catch up.

I love our progression this season. We are building on things and getting better each game! Looking forward to playing Houston Christian on Monday.  We are 1-1 in SPC play and 10-5 overall for the season.
