Student Entrepreneurs Pitch Ideas at Shark Tank

Professionals Serve as Sharks to Evaluate Products
Students in Donielle Albrecht's semester-long Entrepreneurial Studies class presented their ideas and business plans at the 2019 Shark Tank held in the evening on December 9 in the Ramirez Lecture Hall.

Their creative products were reviewed and given feedback by "sharks" Anna Marie Johnson Teague and alum and entrepreneur Brandon Tyree '02.

Working in teams, students pitched the Nox Pillow that gives off melatonin to assist with sleep; Epoch Fitness to assist gyms with instructions on how to use equipment; READYBAG, a device that makes the transition from one trash bag to another easier; Color Clean to encourage handwashing; and VITAL, a compression sleeve that contains CBD.
