Coach Fri Engel:
We returned from our Austin trip with one win and one loss.
We won our Friday game against St Andrew's 5-3. It was an exciting game in the freezing cold. Two of Ella Chisholm's corner kicks led to goals. Maddie Burchfiel scored a penalty kick and Pia Quintana scored two goals. We are happy that we finally scored again and there was some great combination play throughout the game.
On Saturday, we lost against a strong St Stephen's team. It was a tough game, but the girls battled hard. We look forward to another week of SPC games with St. John's on Tuesday and Houston Christian for our senior night on Friday.
