Cooper choir members represent in TPSMEA

Choir members prepare to sing in TPSMEA's All-State Choir in Dallas.
Twelve members of the Cooper Chorale auditioned for a spot in the TPSMEA (Texas Private School Music Education Association) All State Choir.

Eleven of these Upper School singers competed in the first round of auditions, with ten students earning membership in the All-Region Choir, including a 1st alternate. These singers spent the winter holidays learning new music, and presented a concert on January 14, 2023.

These singers advanced to the TPSMEA All-State Choir:

Jacob Broussard
Carlos Calderon

They will join top singers from around the state at the 2023 All State Clinic and Concert on January 28 at the Eisemann Center in Dallas, Texas. 

In November, the following students submitted a recorded audition and were selected to the TPSMEA Middle School Region Honor Choir:
