Dragon Varsity Boys Basketball Team Wins Tourney Bronze Bracket

Results from the week of December 27
VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL

12/28-30
at Houston Private School Classic at Second Baptist School

Coach Matthew Wilson: The boys played in the prestigious Houston Private School Classic over the holiday break. The tournament features the best private school teams in the Greater Houston Area each year. After two hard-fought games, we found ourselves in the Bronze bracket. Despite the disappointing start, the boys showed grit and determination as we slugged our way to the championship game. We routed The Village School in the final, with Tres Luzey scoring 33 points and hitting seven threes. The team was paced over the weekend by sophomores Tres Luzey (Tournament MVP) and Jackson Williams (All-Tournament) who averaged 20ppg and 19ppg, respectively. We are very proud of the effort the boys put forth over the weekend. It was a great start to the second semester!
