From Coach Brent Landrum: For the first time all season we were behind. Oakridge got out to a 7-0 lead. I was concerned how we would respond to adversity but like they have all year, they handled it with ease. This was a strange game because we only had the ball for a little more than nine minutes. Oakridge and their staff did a great job of game planning. When you don’t possess the ball much it makes having to score each possession tougher. We did a good job of that. It was a total team win and for that I am proud. I thought our defense played their best game of the conference season. We tackled really well. We head to Denton next week to face the Cyclones from Oklahoma City Casady. The boys are excited about playing in a division one college football stadium again.
