13th Annual Empty Bowls Donates to Local Food Pantry

Interfaith of The Woodlands Reps Visit Lower School Assembly

Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands, and Lucy Gomez, Director of Programs for Interfaith, attended the Lower School assembly on April 23 to accept a donation for $10,000 for the Interfaith Food Pantry, thanks to the Cooper community's support of the 2018 Empty Bowls Project. Interfaith has been a beneficiary since 2005 and this Cooper outreach has now contributed $93,000 to help support Interfaith's hunger relief efforts. Cooper faculty coordinators Jamila Musa-Carr and Amy Dietrich presented the "check" after Ms. Herndon shared with students the importance of their efforts.
