Interact Club President Reports On Outreach Activities

Club Officers Attend Rotary Club of The Woodlands Luncheon

Interact Club executive board members and faculty sponsors from The John Cooper School attended The Rotary Club of The Woodlands luncheon in January. Interact Club President Keelie Sinnott gave an update on the club's activities and introduced members of Cooper’s Interact Executive Committee who were in attendance.

Cooper's Interact Club is one of the largest clubs on campus. The club sponsors two blood drives each school year, competes in the YMCA Dragonboat Races, and supports the annual Rotary Christmas Party for local senior citizens on campus. Each year, club members research specific needs around the world and select those they wish to support.

Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 14 to 18. The Rotary Club of The Woodlands sponsors Interact clubs at area high schools, including Cooper, by providing support and guidance. The Interact clubs are self-governing and self-supporting.
