On October 6, 1998 Matthew Shepard was brutally beaten, tied to a fence and left to die outside of Laramie, Wyoming. This hate crime shook our nation and the world like no other, and The Tectonic Theater Project was moved to tell the story of how this crime impacted a small American town. This is a documentary play that reflects the beliefs, thoughts and feelings of a community through actual dialogue that spans a wide spectrum of perspectives.

TALKBACK: Members of the community, cast and audience members are invited to learn more about the play and the Tectonic Theatre Project at a post-show discussion with Co-founder Jeffrey LeHoste on Saturday April 21 at 4:30 pm. It will be on the Main Stage and is free of charge.

*Note: Due to the mature subject matter and strong language, this play is rated PG-14.
