The team played very well during the four-game showcase. We finally started putting the ball in the net, and we had three shutouts in the four matches, which is an improvement over our first few games this season. I think the group is started to play together very well and we are very excited to see how much more we can continue to improve.

From Coach Amber Clevenger:
Our home opener game vs Emery Weiner was a great way to kickstart a long week of soccer! Mary Dunlap jumpstarted us with our first goal with an assist by Emily Black. The game was back and forth with Emery coming back by scoring 2 goals to put them up 2-1, but the girls never gave up. The girls fought back and freshman Sabrina Frusco found the back of the net twice and Mary Dunlap finished us off with an assist from freshman Anjali Guslingham. Goals by Mary Dunlap (2) and Sabrina Frusco (2). Assists by Emily Black, Anjali Guslingham & Kate Burns (1 unassisted goal)
I was so happy to see the girls win our home opener and I was even happier to see my younger players really shine!
