From Coach Scott Holland: A huge thanks to the parents who volunteered and the coaches who ran the meet while still working with the athletes. We are still seeing strong results as we come to the end of the season. We now have over two dozen PRs and more qualifiers for SPC. I am looking forward to taking the largest group ever to SPC. The athletes are working hard and hopefully the strongest performances are still ahead of us.

From Coach Brent Landrum:
The loss to St. John’s was another tough loss. We had the lead going into the top of the seventh and could not hold on. This team is tough. They will bounce back. They always do. We are looking forward to playing at Minute Maid Park on Monday the 10th vs. Second Baptist.

Varsity Girls’ Softball

4/4 at Houston Christian* • 15–1 LOSS
Pitcher Kaitlyn Harris gave up nine runs and three hits. Grayson Sloop led the team 2-for-3 at the plate with one run batted in.

4/7 vs Frassati Catholic • 16-0 WIN
Pitcher Eryn Sanchez went four innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, striking out six, and walking one.
Grayson Sloop led the Dragons, driving in five runs and went 3-for-4 at the plate. Juszczak, Sloop, Sanchez, and Albers each collected multiple hits for Dragons. Alex Sims made the most plays with six.

From Coach Nicole Hedden:
We had a great win on Friday but a tough loss against Houston Christian. We need to step up our game during SPC conference games. We are looking forward to playing Kinkaid on Wednesday.
