2/2 vs St. Stephen’s* • 0-3 LOSS

SPC record: 4-3

From Coach Amber Clevenger: This was a tough week as the girls’ soccer team was hit hard by the flu. Tuesday, we did our best, playing Kinkaid with some sick players and we dropped the game 5-1.
Thursday, we had a rescheduled game against St. Stephen's. We were missing nine players during this game, but I was impressed by the effort of the remaining team giving some players the chance to step up. Goalie Brittany LaVergne had a fantastic game and made some great saves! We had many scoring opportunities, but we weren't able to capitalize on them, dropping the game, 3-0.
Our focus now is on the SPC tournament where we will be the #4 seed and we play our first game at 6pm Thursday evening.
