Dragon Softball and Baseball Teams Take The Competition To Florida Over Spring Break

Coach Mike Williams: The boys played five games in four days in Fort Lauderdale Classic. Vaughn McKeever picked up his second win over the year with 10k in five innings. Blake Pitts (Fairleigh Dickinson University commit) led the Dragons 8-13, 6 doubles; Beto Valenzuela 7-14, 4 doubles; Jaxson Pierce 5-12, 2 doubles, and Kade Meyer 6-11 7 RBI’s. 
We are back in action on Tuesday at Finnie Park.

3/15 vs Phillips Academy • 14-6 L
Coach Nicole Hedden: Dragons collected nine hits with Maggie Flinn and Grace Minarovic collecting two each.
 
3/16 vs St. Ignatius College Prep • 6-5 L
Coach Nicole Hedden: The Dragons scored four runs in the sixth inning, thanks to singles by Maggie Flinn and Bella Tamayo. Tamayo led the Dragons with two hits in four at-bats.
 
We had a blast in Florida. We learned a lot about each other and made a bond that will do great things for these girls as we continue our season.
