We concluded our first week of SPC play this weekend. I am very proud of our efforts against St. Andrew’s and St. Stephen’s. The guys once again played with grit and determination. Though we came up short, there are certainly many positives to build on from last weeks’ performances.

1/11 vs. St. Stephen’s Episcopal* • 51-29 WIN

Coach BJ Feuerhelm: We could not have asked for a better start to the new year. First game out, we played a solid all-around game against a good Duchesne team. The girls really showed focus as we started to then prep for SPC play. We played an all-around complete weekend series and were able to jump out to a 2-0 start in conference play. We are excited to continue to improve as we head to St. John’s this week.

GIRLS’ VARSITY SOCCER
1/10 vs. St. Andrew’s Episcopal* • 0-0 TIE

1/11 vs. St. Stephen’s Episcopal* • 1-1 TIE
Tamsin Prudencio goal, Kat Staebel Assist

Coach Amber Clevenger: The girls have been putting in a lot of hard work in 2020 and it truly paid off this week. Friday’s game versus St. Andrews was a tough game due to the weather and slippery field conditions. The tie isn’t exactly the result we wanted, but it was nice to have a shut-out and see players step up and play well.
Saturday’s game versus St. Stephens was a great game all around and the hard work the team has put in really paid off. Patty Chow came up huge for us with great saves, Sara Gomez did an incredible job keeping us in the game and Tamsin Prudencio tied the game up for us with an assist from Kat Staebel. I’d consider these games a success and I’m looking forward to watching the girls play again Tuesday versus St. John’s and celebrate our seniors, Friday vs. Frassati!
