BOYS’ VARSITY BASKETBALL

12/13 vs. Lake Houston Conquerors • 56-42 WIN

Top Performers:
Antonio Evans 19 points, Cadan Hanson 9 points, and Zach Taylor with 8 points

Coach Matthew Wilson: We took advantage of only having one game on Friday by getting some much-deserved recovery time. The guys bounced back and earned a tough victory in front of an energetic crowd Friday evening. I’m proud of our guys, we continue to develop a mentality of grit and competitiveness. Best of luck to all students during finals this week!

Coach BJ Feuerhelm: With the winter break approaching I was glad to see our girls finish off the first part of the season the right way. We have continued to get better throughout the year. Now we are looking forward to some time off before our holiday games and the beginning of the SPC schedule.

Coach Bryan Sherman: It was nice to finish the first half of the season with a comfortable win. The team still has many areas to improve, but we are beginning to turn the corner and hopefully, we can build off these performances after the New Year. I am very proud of the team’s effort thus far and look forward to starting SPC matches in January.

Coach Amber Clevenger: We played pretty well against a talented team in the first half. Saw some good things but we need to be able to put it together for two halves.
