VARSITY BOYS

"The boys' team had a nice summer of training and are excited to begin racing. We have a young team with 17 of our 23 runners being freshmen and sophomores. I feel confident our young runners will improve as the season progresses and they will be very competitive by the SPC Championship.” –Coach George Dohner

Runners To Watch
Senior Cadan Hanson and junior Will McDermott will lead the boys' team this year. Other members who will play a key role in the success of the team will be senior Andrew Mahler, junior Zac Winton, sophomores Carson Hanson, Alex Everson and Brian Mekelburg.

VARSITY GIRLS

“This year’s girls’ cross country team could be one of strongest in Cooper history. The team has a mixture of talented upperclassmen to go along with some outstanding young runners. I think by the end of the season we will be one of the top teams in the SPC.”–Coach George Dohner

Runners To Watch
The girls’ team returns six of our top eight runners from last year. Junior Katie Drake, seniors Madison Breaux and Paige Cromley will provide experience to our younger runners. Sophomores Abby Mendenhall, Rebecca Melin and Amber Navarra competed on the varsity team last year. Newcomers to watch will be sophomore Caitlin Lanigan, Bailey Leavitt and freshmen Chloe Smith, Sofia Guiot, Megan Day and Keira Van der Linden.
