Coach Sara Bany: Cooper Swimmers were back in the pool to kick off our championship season. This weekend was the HAPPI meet (Houston Area Private and Parochial Invitational), also known as the Houston City Champs meet. The meet was scored based on combined girls’ and boys’ team scores and the Dragon swimmers competed their way into second place overall! 1/25 at Kinkaid* • 1-0 LOSS

Coach Bryan Sherman: The team played two good games this week, but we are having some trouble finding the back of the net at the moment. Despite these results, I am still confident in the team’s ability and look forward to a home counter match against Houston Christian next week.

VARSITY GIRLS’ SOCCER

1/25 at Kinkaid* • 4-0 LOSS
Coach Amber Clevenger: Although our game against Kinkaid didn’t end the way we wanted, I truly couldn’t be prouder of the way we played. The score doesn’t depict the way we played-we held them scoreless until the last 17 minutes of the game. The real win last night was watching the sick and injured players step up and persevere for each other. It was the truest showing of teamwork and selflessness I’ve seen from these girls and I truly couldn’t be prouder.
