Giving & Special Events


The role of the Advancement Office is to coordinate fundraising efforts. Each year parents and friends are given many opportunities to support the mission of the school. In addition to the "Annual Fund First!" Campaign, the school also sponsors a Golf Tournament, the Signatures Author luncheon, an annual Cyber Online Auction and a biennial Gala event. Each of these events is a terrific way to enjoy the company of fellow members of the Cooper community and directly benefit the school!

The school relies on tuition income, a strong Annual Fund campaign and proceeds from the special events mentioned to maintain operations. The success of these efforts enables the school to sustain unparalleled educational excellence.

The Advancement Office also provides coordination and organization during capital campaigns. These are periodic campaigns that support building and facility needs and strengthen the school's endowment. Donations raised through capital campaigns have helped support the construction of such things as the Student Center, the Pre-K classroom wing, the Performing Arts Center and the Upper School library.
