Lower School Halloween Parade

Location: Campus Grounds - Courtyard

Annual Halloween Costume Parade, Fall Carnival, and Pre-K Positively Pumpkin - October 29th

LS students are invited to wear school-appropriate Halloween costumes on Friday, October 29th for our Annual Halloween Costume Parade. The remainder of the day will be a dress-down day and students who come to school in costume will be able to change following the parade. Children should be able to change independently out of his/her costume.
 
Please note: Parents will not be allowed into the Lower School Building to assist their child with costume changes.
 
We will have 2 separate parades.
The times are as follows:
 
PK – 2nd Grade: 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.
3rd – 5th Grade: 9:15 – 9:45 a.m.
 
Parade Route:
Students will exit the Lower School building, walk by the two gyms, and take a full lap around the academic quad. Please find a place to view the parade anywhere around the perimeter of the parade route.
 
Parking:
Parents are encouraged to park in the Lower School lot or by Pugh Field and Glenn Performing Arts Center toward the back of the campus (enter through gates on Flintridge Drive).
 
Photos:
After the parade, homerooms will gather to take pictures at the following locations:
  • PK - Front of LS Building
  • Kinder - Front of LS Building
  • 1st - Front of Rock Building
  • 2nd - Front of Rock Building
  • 3rd - Front of LS Building
  • 4th - Lower School Courtyard (between MPR and Fourth Grade classrooms)
  • 5th - Front of the 5th Grade Building
Fall Carnival:
LS students (Grades K-5) will attend the Fall Carnival – organized, planned, and staffed by Cooper’s Middle School students. The carnival will take place on our academic quad and students will visit during the following times:
  • 12:50 - 1:20 p.m.     Grades K & 1
  • 1:25 - 1:55 p.m.       Grades 2 & 3
  • 2:00 - 2:30 p.m.       Grades 4 & 5
Students may only attend the carnival during their designated time, and parents are welcome to join their children during their child’s designated time. Teachers will have their class roster on hand, and parents must inform the teacher if they wish to explore the carnival with their child. 
 
Pre-K Positively Pumpkin - Please read the Pre-K newsletter for details. Parents are welcome to attend.
 
For All Grades: Please do not send goodie bags and/or extra treats to school for the students. Thank you.
