Health Services

The John Cooper School offers health services to our students in offices staffed by two full-time registered nurses. The primary role of the School Nurse is to provide temporary care for an ill student, evaluate and/or treat minor injuries, administer medications, and educate students and staff in health-related matters. In addition, the nursing staff is responsible for ensuring compliance with state mandates regarding student health and immunization records, as well as vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings.
