Dragon Football and Volleyball Teams Open Competition With Scrimmages

VARSITY FOOTBALL


9/18 scrimmage at St. Pius X 
The John Cooper Football program scrimmaged St Pius X on Friday night with both JV and Varsity.

Both teams scored one touchdown on each other. 
 
Coach Erik DeHaven: Our team is on schedule and we have a lot of areas to improve but I am happy with our effort and attitude.

Oct. 2 vs. Lutheran South, 7 p.m. SENIOR NIGHT

 

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL 

9/16 scrimmage at St. John XXIII

Coach Jennifer Peyton: Varsity volleyball opened their competitive season with a scrimmage at St. John XXIII. It was a great opportunity for us to see where we are. We also walked away setting goals on where we want to be. The players energy was high, and we are looking forward to a very full week of competition coming up.
