Interfaith's decision to award the John Cooper School stems from its exceptional dedication to service and leadership, which have become integral aspects of The School's culture. Since its establishment, the institution has prioritized not only academic excellence but also instilling values of compassion, empathy, and responsibility in its students.

Every year, Cooper students:
  • Participate in a Day of Caring called “Cooper Cares Day” 
  • Partner with Habitat for Humanity
  • Support The Mongomery County Food Bank 
  • Serve in the Interact Club as a part of Rotary International
  • Help our community and raise awareness
  • Create art for others
